Our team
Experience matters
Our team of health care professionals put your needs first. At Senior Insights our team shares a common commitment to client wellbeing, professional integrity, and superior service.

Cameron Oglesby
Owner/CEO
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work at Longwood University and a Master of Business Administration degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, Cameron Oglesby applied her social work background and business skills to the health care industry – first in behavioral health, then in the new (at the time) field of assisted living. As an executive director of assisted living communities, she came to realize how confusing, how complex, how segmented the seemingly endless array of available caregiving options is to seniors and their families.

So in 2009, she started Senior Insights – to replace the maze of senior care services with individually tailored, coordinated, managed senior care planning. The strategies she and her team recommend are tailored to each individual’s unique needs. They often include options that many didn’t know existed. Their implementation is constantly monitored – and adjusted for changing conditions.

It’s a combination that assures the quality of care that enhances quality of life.

Ann Grubbs
Business Manager
When Ann Grubbs joined Senior Insights in 2011, she brought two important things with her.

One was a 30-year track record of running successful small businesses. Her experience keeps our operations running smoothly and efficiently, providing the care our clients need, when and where they need it.

The other was a special interest in senior care, and a first-hand understanding of our clients’ needs, that came from providing long-distance caring for her own mother.

Ann’s financial and managerial acumen has helped Senior Insights grow from a dream to a reality.

Vera Jones
BSN, RN
Director of Nursing
Vera has been a RN over 30 years. Vera came to Senior Insights with a background in multiple hospital positions, educator, and as a director of nursing in home care. Vera’s strength is Community Health Nursing of which home care is a branch. In 2015, Vera was a finalist for the Virginia Nurse of the Year in Community Health. Her certifications have been in dementia care and in PCA instruction.
When not at work, Vera enjoys her husband and being a Pastor’s wife. They have 3 married sons and 7 grandchildren. Vera enjoys cycling and jogging for fitness and is an indoor gardener of African Violets.
